"But bruder! I want to help!" Lili said, getting up from her seat. The blonde male turned towards her. "I won't let you, Lili. You're still just a kid, way too young to get a job." He replied. The young girl sat back down. "I just wanted to help get more money while we live in the conditions we do now...plus, the boss already hired me." Vash's eyes widened. "What?! Are you out of your mind?!" Lili looked down sadly. "She's very nice....she gives me her recipes when I forget them, she pays me with chocolate to bring home sometimes, and she drives me home sometimes...." Vash put his hand on her shoulder. "Lili, I know you mean well. I'm just concerned for you. I'm worried that you'll get too close to this girl and then she'll fire you, and it will be like losing a friend." He said, sighing. "But if you're heart's set on working and bringing in money....I guess I'll have to let you." "Yay! You can stop by the store tomorrow, bruder!" And she ran off to her bedroom.

~The next morning~

Lili walked into the store cheerfully, while you stood behind the counter. "I'm here, Miss [Name]!" Her tiny voice sounded like a bell. You grinned. "Good. We open up in half an hour. How did your brother react?" You asked. "He was angry at first, but then he let me stay! He's going to come over and take a look today!" She said, clapping her hands. You took out her personal pink apron and tied it around her waist. "I have a new recipe that I want to show you. I think you'll like it."

Lili watched as you carefully put in the ingredients for your special marshmallow chocolate. You mixed them together as she observed, you occasionally turning to her and smiling. The bell rang as a customer stepped in, the first one of the day. "Lili, can you handle the cash register for me? I'll be out there in a few minutes." You said. She nodded and walked over to the counter. "Hello, Mr. Edelstein! What can I do for you today?" The blonde girl asked, smiling. The Austrian's usual blank expression was gone, as he today was very chipper. "Today is my Elizabeta's birthday and I would like some mint chocolate for her." He said, and you called out from the kitchen, "Be right there with it, Roddy!" He rolled his eyes. "And tell your brother that I said 'Hello'." And he sat down at one of the tables.

The hours went by, business was very slow as usual, still no sign as Vash. It was Lili's lunch break, so instead of eating her self-made sandwich and inviting you out to a picnic, she called her older brother. "Bruder, are you coming today?" She asked. "Lili, I'll be there in about 2 hours, alright? My boss is being very difficult today." "Alright....see you soon!" And she hung up, moments before you walked in with a picnic basket. "Ready for lunch?" She nodded with her usual cheerful self. "Yay!"

In the back of the store, you and Lili ate on the nice blanket. "Bruder's coming today!" She said, excitedly. "I can't wait to meet him." You smiled, though you were a little nervous. It wasn't like you didn't want to meet him, that would break Lili's heart. She spoke very fondly of him, and you were looking forward to meeting him, but you were also told he was a very serious and difficult man who was very protective of his land property, once going as far as to chase Lili's friend, Feliciano, while shooting at him in the process. "Sorry I'm late, Lili. Long day at the offi-" You turned your head to see what you assumed to be Lili's elder brother. He was tall, with piercing green eyes and shaggy blonde hair. He wore a button up, quarter-length sleeved shirt with regular jeans. "Bruder!" The young girl  exclaimed, then ran over, hugging him. You walked over, smiling. "Nice to meet you. I'm [Name]." You held out your hand. "Vash." He said, bluntly, but he took your hand. "Are you going to help out at the shop today, bruder?" Lili piped up. "Er....I guess....if the nice lady doesn't mind." "I don't mind at all!" You said, blushing. Lili took Vash's hand then dragged him into the shop, while you followed, giggling.

Usually, once the lunch break passed by, the store became more crowded. People would sit at the tables like a restaurant and eat the candy, or they would simply order, take the treats, then get out. You were in the kitchen, making the marshmallow chocolate from earlier, while Lili was at the cash register and gettint the already made candy. "Is there anything I can help out with?" A voice said, and you turned around to see Vash just sanding there, hands in his pockets. "Um......do you want to help make the chocolate?" "Sure." He walked over, washed his hands, then put on an apron. "So you own this store?" "Yeah, it was my grandmother's. My mom wasn't interested, so she passed it on to me." You explained. "Seems legit." Vash replied. You handed him the mixing bowl. "If you can mix that up, I'll be really grateful. I need to go and get the marshmallows." You walked into the storage section and got a bag of the fluffy food, then walked over to see Vash already putting something in the chocolate. "What are you doing?!" You asked, bustling over. You looked at the sea foam green specks in the brown liquid, then saw Vash looking at you with a serious look. "I put my own taste in it." He took the marshmallow bag from your hands and put a number of the fluffy substance in. After about 3 minutes of mixing, he took a spoon and dipped it in. "Try it. It's a family recipe." You licked the cold metal, but what you tasted was pure sweetness. "What was that green stuff?" "Mint. I thought it would work with the chocolate and marshmallows." You smiled and opened your eyes. "It's really tasty." You started making the same thing, and an awkward moment of silence passed by. "I want to thank you for hiring my little sister....she really likes it here and talks about you fondly...." You blushed. "I did it because she seemed so nice and sweet....plus she's a good influence on the other workers." Vash looked at you. "She says that you're like a mom to her....and I like that." You blushed again, except more wildly this time. "She really said that?" "Yeah.......she also said that you were very pretty......I have to agree with her on that." You turned around, trying to process what he said, but you felt soft lips on yours. You opened your eyes as Vash pulled away, blushing. "Th-Thanks...." You said, and you caught Vash licking his lips. "What?" "You taste like Swiss chocolate.....and I love Swiss chocolate."
This one is sweet. I really like it. XD

I really like chocolate, and I think that mint, marshmallow, and chocolate would be good combined. More sweets, please! XD I actually also really like Switzy, and I tried to make him in character without him being rude towards reader-tan...I think I did a good job. XD I would put the Chocolateer part in the title, but it wouldn't fit. D: If I'm correct, chocolateer is somebody that makes chocolate, right? That's what my grandmother told me...

And isn't Lili just the sweetest thing?! XD She's like my little sister, Sophie (except Sophie likes animals more than impressing her elder sibling. XD)

I thought that since I already wrote Scotland and Canada, I'd do a serious character. XD Switzy fits the bill!

And to avoid confusion, Lili has talked about you before to her brother, though he never knew you were her boss. XD

Amazing story! Funny thing I was eating peppermint bark (the one combined with chocolate) beforehand. You captured both Switzerland and lili's personalities. Question for my upcoming stories: does anyone want a story about my character Faron dating Switzerland while her brother din dates Belarus and her other sister naryu marrying China?
